#23. Parli Family

I'm super grateful for my amazingly incredible parli family!! I love them all soooo much. They have helped me become a better person as a group and individually. We all enjoyed being with each other again. Of course we missed our Chairman. But we did think of her and love her dearly.

Last night the parli team got together. It was fun. We had dutch oven and made smores. We played True Colors. After dinner we watched our Executive Meeting we made for our coaches and the slideshow I made for the team. The girls of the team were crying and the guys just got tears in their eyes when we said our goodbyes. (In other words, See You Later) Now we are all going our separate ways. It's a hard process to say the three letter word "Bye." But we have more adventures ahead.

My Parliamentary Procedure team went to Disneyland for Nationals! This is at California Adventure in Disney's Animation (I think) Enjoy!!

My life has been tons of fun lately. It's been a huge change. I have now graduated from high school and now it's time for another chapter in my life to start. College. I'm very excited yet scared. Most of my friends are moving. I will truely miss them but I'm very glad I got to know them. They have been great examples in my life. This is for my parli family. I have learned and grown a lot from these amazing people. I'm glad they are apart of my life.

Tara Greenwood- For being the most amazing parli coach anyone could ask for. She was always patient with me and the team. She is there through hard times and fun times. She took our team to Florida and because of her we got to go to California too. I love how she cares about each of us as a whole but also when we each individually had troubles. She is the best coach a team could ever ask for. She has taught me more than I could ever imagine I could learn. She put many hours into getting tests, binders and assignments ready for our team. I will never forget her and she will always be our Mama Tara.


Chad Greenwood- For helping us get a team started. He started to teach us parli and we would meet during lunch. He put up with our noisyness during lunch, but he didn't care he would always get up and help us with any questions we had. He always looked for answers in Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised (10th version) and find them. He is always so willing to do things for this team without any hessitation. He is an amazing coach. I will always remember him wearing his awesome hat.

Jakob Greenwood- For being the cutie pie of the team. Jakob always had a smile on his face. Whenever I was not in the best mood, I would look over to Jakob and he would give me the biggest smile. That always brightened my day. He does his 'gangster' look, knows what to do when we say 'say a prayer'. He is the cutest. Whatever you say he will slap his knee and laugh his heart out. He may be three, but he knows what he's doing.

Tyler Griffin- For always having a positive, happy attitude. For being the little giggler. Everytime you laugh I can't help but laugh along because of the happiness you radiate. He would never say a bad thing about anyone, he is always making everyone feel good about themselves. He's also very innocent in this world. (: He has taught me that things happen for a reason, and I thank him for that. He is always so bright and very blessed. He is always there when I was down. He knows how to make me happy! He would always get free stuff and has taught me to speak up and to just ask. He also knows how to pose for the camera.:) I am very blessed I got to know an incredible person. He is my best friend.

Brianna Anderson- For always being a sweetheart. She is our team chairman. No one could ever take her spot. With out her I don't know where our team would be. She knows how to use that gavel and she is the brains of the team. I love it when she laughs and smiles it would brighten the room and make everyone oh so happy! She always looked in Roberts for the answers during secret problems and would correct us when we were wrong. She always kept us in line. I would get nervous at some points when we did the script, but when I stood up and said "Madame Chairman" I felt comfortable and I know I can trust her. I couldn't have asked for a better chairman.

Ashley Jacobs- For being our team Treasurer/Secretary. She is such a amazing person. She is not afraid to be herself. She always gives compliments that made my day. She is always full of happienss. She would ask questions that would get Mama Tara thinking. Way to go!! She is incredible! She is an amazing example. I have learned so much from her actions. I will never forget when she came in back to the hotel room at Florida with tears coming down her face, because she gave someone a Book of Mormon. Now that is incredible! Thank you for always being you girl! :)

Kristian Huff- For being the jokster. He aways makes you laugh and life worth living. He knows how to do the smoulder very well. He is the 15 year old who doesn't get invited to the executive meetings :). But we still love him to death. He is an amazing actor and singer. When I grow up I wanna be just as good. Hopefully someday, maybe in heaven. He always knows how to get the publics attention. Whether he does his "caveman". Or his "reptile" noise and actions. He always has an audience looking at him. He is our team rockstar. He is the coolest 15 year old ever!

Rachel Shelton- For being my mental twin that totally understands what im saying when I can express it myself. She wasn't afraid to act like an idiot with me. Because we know we are ourselves and we don't care what others think. She has taught me to keep my head up and look towards what's best. Whenever she would sing the room would just light up. She has an incredible voice. She always knows how to make me laugh. When we are "evil" we have our evil laugh. When we have suggestions, they tend to be the same. When we are together, we get hyper. That is why she will always be my mental twin. January Babies unite!!

Spencer Chappell- For being himself through it all. He learned so much in so little time. Everything he learned the team learned in two years. He is amazing and never gives up. He has taught me so much. He taught me that shopping with a boy isn't bad. It's actually quite fun! Build-A-Bear was quite the experience. ;). He is so sweet and cares if something is wrong. If the team decided to do something, he would stick with it. He wouldn't try to change it. He has the brightest smile, it would always make me want to smile as well.

I will always love my Parli Family! Dang, "I really like how this looks!" crazy pictures on rollercoasters, crazy pictures in general, ...just being crazy! skipping through disneyland and dancing to World of Color, going on indy at midnight, fireworks, knotts berry farm, meeting mickey, minnie, goofy, pluto, rapunzel, mary poppins etc.. dancing in the big room, once upon a time, and happily ever after, shower caps, taco bell, attractive kid, butt clippers, "remember that one guy, from that one competition, from that one school? he was soooooo hot." meeting awesome people from all over the country, "Blue look mahvoulous" unforgettable experiences with our Parli family! I love you guys!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we are almost in the fourth month of 2011 and I haven't updated my blog since October, I believe. Here is a quick sum up of what has happend.
DECEMBER: I went to Preference (Girls Choice) with Jeremy Jensen. It was a freaking blast!! Loved it! We had a super fun group! There was...Anne Bendar & Iniki, Keley Barzeele & Justen Kho, Mariah Carr & Tanner Grenko, Jeanine Lyons & Josh Dolinar and last but not least Jeremy Jensen and I.
JANUARY: Well to start off the New Years Party me and the Stake Youth Committee put together was a huge SUCCESS we had 1204 people show up! Heck yeah, that's what i'm talking about! I also have my birthday in this month! Very special because it was my 18TH birthday!! I celebrated it with Rachel Shelton, Felicia Arbon and Jeff Jarmon. We also had Ana Lewis (in spirit) she couldn't make it but we still thought of her. When I got home I had a surprise outside. It read.."Sweethearts?" in big letters with glowsticks. Jordan Haralson asked me. I also went to the Spontaneous Dance (Boys Choice) with Bridger Card. Dinner, games and dance were a blast!!! I loved my group!
FEBRUARY: This is the month of love!! Haha only in somethings. Anyway...as I mentioned I got asked to Sweethearts. That was a total blast. We went rock climbing and after we went Costa Vida for lunch. I think that's where we went...hm. Later that night we were all sore from rock climbing. He picked me up in a freaking nice car and it even had HEATED SEATS..I fell in love (with the car).
MARCH: Sweater Swing (Girls Choice). I asked Rickey Callister. Oh my can I just say he is a freaking stud. Gotta love that boy! The theme was "Opposites Attract" and we did Beauty and the Geek. All the girls were Beautys and the guys were Geeks and dang they pulled it off good!! We had an amazing race, murder mystery and a freaking awesome time! What also happen in March was...HOSA STATE COMPETITION!!! Parli Pro kicked butt this year!! Our highest test score was 96% and our lowest was a 87%. We had an average of 93%! Heck yeah, that's what i'm talking about!! WE ARE GOING TO NATIONALS AGAIN!!!! Last year it was Florida and this year it's California! OUr youngest team member, Kristian, is now Utah's FIRST Parliamentarian!! Yep you read that right! Congrats boy!! My Parliamentary Procedure team rocks!
RANDOM: My brother comes home from his mission in like 45 days!!! I'm freaking excited!! Also, I am now on the LAST term of my high school career. It's been a fabulous 4 years of my life!! I will sure miss my friends. But i'm ready for what comes ahead.
