New Blogger

So, I haven't written for a few days because the whole "dashboard" thing for blogger changed. It's all new. Just like when facebook gets a new look. Yup, exactly the same.
Now I have to get used to using this new look and figure out how to use it. Honestly, I don't like it. But that's okay, i'll live :)

City Creek :)

Jordan, Mike & I at City Creek.
One heck of an adventure.
Two hyper boys.
One entertained girl.

Okay, let me start off by saying it was late. I was driving, Jordan was in the passenger seat and Mike was in the back. Somehow, when you put these two boys together you get hyper mayhem.

After a 45 minute drive and them criticizing my driving we made it to City Creek.

Side Note: None of us knew exactly where it was. It said "South Temple" so we figured it was south from the temple??

Luckily, it was. We got there and it was AWESOME! We went from store to store. Not to mention they were all GUY stores. Which is completely fine with me. I grew up with four older brothers.
As we were walking from store to store these boys would make the funniest faces and talk in a very entertaining accents.
We got the funniest looks from different people. I don't think the boys noticed cause they were distracted. But me being the observer saw all the people's reactions.
I was happy to have great friends and be entertained all night.
It was like a comedy show.
Going to City Creek for my first time with these two boys was the best :)
P.S. Did I mention Jordan drove on the way home? Yup, from SLC to PG.

Only With Him

This morning I went to the temple with my friend.
He did the confirmations and baptizing.
As they were checking our temple recommends,
one of the temple workers says,
"You know, here at the temple on the third floor we do sealing's."
Everyone around got a kick out of it.
Of course, my friend blushes.
It was funny :)

Funny thing is...situations like that only happen when i'm with him.
Lets back track a couple months ago.

We went to Tie One On to get a tie for him.
As we were looking around the worker says,
"Just so you guys know, the wedding ties are over there."
Oh my, we couldn't stop laughing.
Of course my friend turns bright red again.

One time, we were at the mall and a slow song was on.
We were just standing their waiting for his friends to come out.
He suggested we slow dance.
I agreed.
As we slow danced I giggled.
He asked why.
I said, "out of all the songs to slow dance to you pick this one?"
He said, "I've never heard this song before. What's it called?"
I answered, "Marry Me by Train"

We decided to go to Trafalga one day.
We played miniature golf.
Outside.
It was very cold.
Once we were done, we signed up for laser tag.
My hands were really cold.
He was warming them up.
Aw.
As we were sitting patiently to get assigned teams.
It was a couples anniversary.
The husband decided to be opponents with his wife.
So he said, "I'll be on the dating couples team."
Referring to me and my friend.
We were not dating.
We laughed.
A lot :)

One of our friends has an Ipad.
He had an app called, "Love-O-Meter"
Me and my friend tried it.
We are 62% capatable.
It was the highest anyone got.

We decided to go to the mall one day.
As we were walking towards Macys.
I laughed big time.
He asked why.
I didn't answer.
I changed the subject.
I laughed, because all over their window it had "I Do" all over it.
He didn't notice.
It was great. :)

Other times we went on walks.
People always honked as they drove by.
Not constantly.
But every now and then.

Is it meant to be?
Who knows.
It could all just be a huge coincidence.
Idk :)

I Hope They Call Me On A Mission :)

Okay, lately I've been thinking about missions. I want to go so bad and I have a huge feeling that I will go, I mean, I know I will go. Each time I watch general conference I get all giddy about missionary work. I don't know, maybe it's just me or maybe it's the spirit telling me i'm going. Hmm. If I could go earlier, I would. No doubt. :)
I'm the only one who thinks I'll go on a mission. I tell my friends and family that i'm going and they all say the same thing..."You're not going on a mission, you're gonna get married." I have a strong feeling I will go on a mission and then I will meet Mr. Handsome when I get back. Yup. That's exactly what will happen. :)

Call Me Maybe

I love this song! It's very catchy. Thanks to Nick Strong I know about it. He sang it about two months ago during FHE.

Meet Mike & Jordan

It was almost midnight when this was recorded. So that's why we are acting weird. What am I saying? We are already weird. Which is why we are great friends :)

Adorable!!

Yep, we were tired.

Haha!

Do you see the noes??

These are some of my best friends.
I love them dearly :)

He Knows...

Today at institute we talked about 3 Nephi 11 & 3 Nephi 17. It was incredible. This quote touched me the most.
"We know that Jesus experienced the totality of mortal existence in Gethsemane. It's our faith that he experienced everything--absolutely everything. Sometimes we don't think through the implications of that belief. We talk in great generalities about the sins of all humankind, about the suffering of the entire human family. But we don't experience pain in generalities. We experience it individually. That means he knows what it felt like when your mother died of cancer--how it was for your mother, how it still is for you. He knows what it felt like to lose the student body election. He knows that moment when the brakes locked and the car started to skid. He experienced the slave ship sailing from Ghana toward Virginia. He experienced the gas chambers at Dachau. He experienced napalm in Vietnam...He knows about drug addiction and alcoholism...He understands both the physical pain of giving birth and the immense joy. He understands about rape and infertility and abortion...He understands your mother-pain when your five-year-old leaves for kindergarten, when a bully picks on your fifth-grader, when your daughter calls to say that the new baby has Down's syndrome. He knows your mother rage...when someone gives your thirteen year old drugs, when someone seduces your seventeen year old. He knows the pain you live with when you come home to a quiet apartment where the only children are visitors, when you hear that your former husband and his new wife were sealed in the temple last week, when your fiftieth wedding anniversary rolls around and your husband has been dead for two years. He knows all that. He's been there. He's been lower than all that. He's not waiting for us to be perfect. Perfect people don't need a Savior. He came to save his people in their imperfections. He is the Lord of the living, and the living make mistakes. He's not embarrassed by us, angry at us, or shocked. He wants us in our brokenness, in our unhappiness, in our guilt and our grief." (Chieko Okazaki, lighten up, 1993)

We are not perfect and we know it. We need to strive to be perfect but we never will be and that's great about life. We can always improve ourselves. :) ---there is always room for improvement.

Engaged?!?!?

I'll just come out and say it, I am not engaged and proud to say it. My brother and his friends hacked into my facebook. Don't worry, I was just as confused as you. So, there you go, no ring and no boy :)

No Words, Just Pictures :)

Welcome to my life :)
