HoMeCoMiNg!!!

Here is a summary of Homecoming!!....Billions of laughs, tons of fun, laser assult, 10 amazing teenagers, "The Thing Game", A long puffy dress, being treated like royalty, slow dancing on the drag, goldfish, Magleby's, The Best Homecoming Ever?. . . I say. . .HECK YES!! I had pretty much the best homecoming date EVER!! He is super sweet and knows how to make a girl smile. He is such a gentleman. For the day date we went to Lazer Assult in Provo. It was tonsss of fun, laser tag is my favorite!! When he first picked me up, niether him or his friends would tell any of us girls what we were doing. They just said, "You'll see, but we can promise you girls will have fun!" That made me happy! So he picked me up at 1:20 and dropped me off at 4:30. As I got in the car I see a gallon of goldfish in the backseat!!! I didn't believe he bought the huge box!! It was awesone!! While we were on our way we would ask each other question to get to know us more. We were listening to some interesting music, Kevin played "Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros" and dedicated it to Crystal, Me, Kaleb and him. It's a pretty cool song. Anyways...after lazer assult we went to Andrew Sheridans house to play "Name that Thing Game" something like that. It was tons of fun! When he dropped me off Tori was already at my house to do my hair. We curled it as you can see and put a red headband with a bow in it. It matched the same color as my dress...PERFECT! At 6:30 he came back to pick me up and his tie matched PERFECTLY with my dress!!! Now that takes skill!! We were both proud of ourselves for that. I could not put the boutiner on; i tried and tried and tried and tried. I couldn't do it. Finally Tori got it on. Phew! Kevin Hartly and Tori took a few pictures and then we were off. We went to go pick up Crystal Gish as you can guess, Kevin's date. After we headed to dinner which was MAGLEYBY'S!!! AHHHHHHHH! It was soooo good! I got a salad and he got Teryaki. He pushed out my chair and pushed it in as well. Sydney Jensen and her date Evan (don't know his last name, I think he went to another school) met us there. Kaleb was taking pictures and I heard him say "Hey beautiful look this way" (I ignore it) then he says again "beautiful look at me" So I look and he takes a picture. Gotta love it when guys do that. So there was TEN of us total. I was expect only 3 couples (like Talysa told me) After dinner we headed to the dance, we took pictures both group and singles. He wanted to do a "romantic" picture as he put it. For our group picture Talysa Anderson and Crystal Gish wanted to do something but the picture lady was really rude and wouldn't them (for no reason). So they had Kevin, Crystal, Kaleb and I in the front. Kevin and Kaleb were kneeling and Crystal and I sat on our dates knee. Apparently Kaleb has bad knees and I felt soooooooooooo bad sitting on his knee. But we hurried and took the picture. After we headed on the dance floor. There were a few good songs but mostly just rap...which you can't dance to. There were a few slow songs but thats about it. While Kaleb was busy taking pictures Sydney Jensen and her date come up to me and her date says "grab my hand" so i grab it and Sydney grabs his other hand and he says "spin" we both started spinning and making our dresses puffy! Before you know it, Kaleb comes up to us and says "this is my date" and takes me away. It was hilarious!! An hour and a half later we ended up leaving and slow dancing on the drag. I didn't know the first song we slow danced to but I suggested to play "I don't wanna miss a thing" which is the theme song. We slow danced to it which made me happy. By the time the song was over he was hugging me and thanking me. He told me he was happy that it was me he went to homecoming with. It was very sweet. AFter slow dancing we were heading to Kevins house. Apparently Jeff Heilbut and Kaleb were both having a race to get to Kevins house. Let me tell ya, it was very dangerous and double the speed limit. We played more of that "Name that Thing Game" and after he took me home at midnight. We were at the door for like five minutes and it felt like he gave me 15 hugs! He hugged me for like the 16th time and gave me a kiss on the forehead. (Something I didn't expect but saw it coming) It was a night I will NEVER forget!

Homecoming is Coming & I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing!

So this Saturday is HOMECOMING!!! I get excited, but then sometimes I get super nervous. I love it when I get excited, but I highly dislike it when I get nervous. Our theme this year for homecoming is "I don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith. Homecoming is Semi-Formal. But my dress i'm using is all the way Formal. It's pretty much a prom dress. I don't know if that's a good thing. But oh well. It's red, long and puffy! I love it! Thanks to Courtney who is letting me borrow it. Today I went to the mall to buy a Shawl/Shrug for the dress. It's black and is 1/4 lenght. I saw Talysa Anderson with her friend there. I showed her my dress and asked her a few questions. I asked her who was in our group and she said: Her and Jeff Heilbut, Me and Kaleb Rasmussen, Aubrie Broadbent and Andrew Sheriden. <---- That's part of why i'm nervous. The group. I don't even know half of them! Okay, I lied. I know half of them...Talysa, Me and Kaleb. But that's it! I also asked Talysa if she knew what we were doing for the day date. She asked Jeff and all he was saying is that not to worry, you girls are going to have tons of fun! Well that makes me happy but I like to know what we are going to be doing :) haha! Well I will let you all know how homecoming went. Here is a poem he wrote to ask me to Homecoming. Okay so here is a quick background. I asked him to Morp last year but he got asked an hour earlier. It was a bummer but that's totally fine!! I'm glad it worked out that way. Here is the poem... It chills my heart and hurts my soul to say, We're going to have to wait for another day. MoRp 2010

                                                        Well I just recently went to my Junior Morp (May 15). The theme was "Beach Party" It was tons of fun. I had an awesome group. Jon & I, JC & Heather, Spencer & Rachel, Hyrum & Morgan, Jeff & Felicia. For the day date we had a paint gun fight. It was the bomb! In my opinion there were some ups and down but hey nothing is perfect. The theme this year was "Beach Party!" So we had a Luau! Each couple was a color. Jon & I were GREEN! JC & Heather were PURPLE! Spencer & Rachel were RED! Hyrum & Morgan were ORANGE! Jeff & Felicia were YELLOW! After the luau we headed to the dance. It was not the best dance, I thought it was kinda lame. Plus non of the guys were dancing (they were lame too haha just at the dance) Since the dance didn't go well we headed outside on the football field and played Missionary Tag, Duck Duck Goose, Tag (but stay on the white lines) It was fun! It was a memorable day!
