Simply Happy :)

"In 1 one week there are 7 days; in 7 days there are 168 hours; and in those 168 hours there are 10080 minutes; which breaks down to 604800 seconds. The point is that I've loved and cherished each and every one of those seconds this week! I've grown so much and learned a thing or two as well!"
~Elder Ellis

I second what he said.

This past week has been a roller coaster, but I stayed on top and with a smile...a big smile.
Monday was FHE.
Oh how I love it!
We went to Temple Square.
Some took Frontrunner.
Others drove.
Two cars arrived at the Frontrunner station.
One didn't.
The Frontrunner was coming.
So we let the others jump on and make their way to SLC.
Tiffany and I waited for the other car.
No show.
They decided to drive.
We laughed.
And waited.
The next one didn't come till an hour later.
Tiffany locked her keys in her car.
We laughed again.
We waited for the Frontrunner.
While we waited we met two volunteers.
One gave us a cool pouch to warm our hands.
I was warm.
And I was happy!
We laughed and smiled at the all the little things that happen.
We usually do.
Sometimes it's hard.
But we do it.
Thursday I was sick.
Really sick.
Emesis...yuck.
This day was the day I did the most.
I picked my parents up from work.
Did chores.
Smiled every where I went.
Almost got in *two* car accidents.
Both wouldn't have been my fault.
I didn't get angry.
I simply smiled.
I felt a tad bit better.
:)
Friday I worked.
I still felt sick.
I tried not to show it.
I smiled at every customer.
I got compliments.
I felt happy.
My tummy didn't.
But I was.
:)
Saturday I went to the Salt Lake Temple.
I was happy as ever.
I was with my friends and family.
8 supported me that day.
5 friends went to the Temple.
I was happy.
I am happy.
I am so blessed.
I can't wait to go again.
With my friends.
Sealings.
Endowments.
Happy for them.
:)
Don't let your trials bring you down.
Simply just smile and laugh.
I promise you will be happy.
Others around you will appreciate you.
And will love to have you around.
I promise.

Last Week (4th-7th) in a Nut Shell

Sunday: Spiritually high. Best testimony meeting ever!
Monday: Woke up to MISSIONARY MAIL!! I received a letter from one of the best missionaries out there. The best part was that the majority of his letter was in Spanish! So proud of him :) Work was awesome! Lots of laughs and happiness. Awesome customers.
Tuesday: I voted!! Played Just Dance 4. Tiffany locked her keys in her car (we laughed). Remember to stay positive.
Wednesday: I got a phone call at 7:38 AM that my mission call was here and to go pick it up at the post office.
Canada Montreal Mission. French speaking, March 20th, 2012. Thanks for all the love and support. Thank you again!!!
I know I haven't been posting as much as I would like, but I kinda have a mission to (continue to) prepare for :)

Inventory

Last night I worked from 6PM-Midnight. It was an adventure. (Pictures will be posted soon) One word. Inventory.
3 Managers.
2 Associates.
Counting, counting and more counting.
I'm pretty exhausted. I have another 6 hour work day. 4-close. I'm pretty stoked.
Oh. I almost forgot, I also open tomorrow bright and early.
Stay tuned for pictures :)

Nineteen :)

Wow, lately i've been horrible at blogging. (Sorry Steph) But it's okay! Cause it's been a blast!
Last week on Tuesday I worked from 8PM-2:30AM. Woot Woot! Best. Shift. Ever! Kate brought snacks for those who worked. I also noticed that everyone (including managers) get hyper when they are tired. That's why it was a great shift. Though, I was sooo sore when I woke up. Great :)

One of our Assistant Managers moved to Arizona last Friday. We will miss you Tiffanee!! and Welcome to Aero Crysta!

This past weekend was pretty fun! Tiff and I doubled and we went to Jojo's Private Concert. I didn't know what to expect..
Okay, lets back track a few weeks ago.
Tiff and I had a sleep over. That morning I turn on my radio. It's on Mix 107.9FM. They announce, "Be caller #10 to win tickets to Jojo's Private Concert." Tiff says, "Should I call?" (While we are still trying to wake up.) I answer saying, "Yeah, go for it." We didn't expect to win or anything. So I grab my phone and we dialed. We get Caller #3, #4, #8, #9, & #10!!!! Woot! Woot! That's how we won the first set of tickets. The second time was almost the same but we were at Ihop. It was almost five after the hour and I couldn't stand it anymore, so I grabbed Tiff's keys and headed to her car to listen for the station's cue. It came before I knew it so I book it back to Ihop and we both start dialing. We got caller #2, #3, #7, #9, #10!! It was awesome.
We decided to go to Kohls and we hear the stations cue again. I tell Tiff to call. So she does. I thought, what are the odds we get caller 10? We could be caller #7 or anything but #10. All of a sudden we hear, "Mix 107.9, who's this?" We both thought, uh oh. We can't be caller 10...but...oh dang. It was too late. We answered, "This is Tiffany." Jared from Mix 107.9 says, "Tiffany, you are caller number 10!!" I bust out laughing. I couldn't believe it. We won 6 tickets.
Okay, now lets fast forward a few weeks.
The concert was only an hour long. Brady (Tiff's date) stands up and lifts his shirt screaming, "I love you Jojo!!" Jojo then looks and says, "I love you t-whoa I love your abs!" He replied, "They are all for you Jojo." I thought, Is this really happening? Haha! Wow.
We got to meet her afterwards. As Brady walks up to Jojo he says something like, "Hey remember my abs." Hah, oh Jojo remember alright. I won't lie that was a bit awkward. We took our pictures and got a picture of her and her autograph. Some 12 year old girls come up to us saying, "We got your abs on our camera." and "Are you dating any of these girls? Cause it's not like we are interested or anything, we are just wondering." Haha wow. That's the last time Tiff and I invite ladies men to dates. Okay, not really, but you get what i'm saying.
We noticed that we were hungry, so we took the boys to Ruby River Steak House. It was super good. Our conversations we priceless and we were pretty much the center of attention to those around us. It was great. Our waitress was probably annoyed with us at first, but as the night went on she didn't mind us at all. Out of no where Brady says, "You know what I haven't done in a LOOONG time that I really want to do?" We thought for a minute, "Um..no." Brady then says, "Cuddle." We start laughing to ignore the awkwardness. Oh man, by abs were hurting by the end of the night.

We finished eating and went to Eriks house to watch a movie. I believe it was Princess Bride. The parts I saw were pretty funny. I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open. It was super fun though.

The next day was my birthday party! Let me just sum this up. Laser tag, laughing, Just Dance 3, Kinect, What If, ice cream cake, pizza, snow, boys dancing to California Girls, more laughing, happiness and 19!! It was a memorable day! Thanks for those who made it that way! (You know who you are)

Sunday was my BIRTHDAY!! Of course you can guess that they sang to me in choir. It was so cute!! Thanks guys!

Monday we were setting up for the Murder Mystery Dinner for FHE. We were combined with Timpanogos and Mt Mahogany. It was a great turn out!

Black Friday, Quit BBW, 100% @ Aero!

Well, it's been 9 days since I've updated my blog. Here is what has happend...
THANKSGIVING THURSDAY!! My famiy came over and we had a huge dinner. It was very delicious! That morning I got a cold. No fun. Why? Cause I had to work at 11:30 that night for BLACK FRIDAY!! I worked from 11:30PM Thanksgiving night to 5AM. Jordan decided to go shopping at Aero to use his 50%. Afterwards I noticed I didn't have my keys. I happen to lock my keys in my car and didn't get home till 7AM. I came back at Noon and worked till 5PM. Then I had to head to BBW at 5PM to close. I had TONS of friends visit. I saw Luke, Erik, my family, Cristian, Ashley and her family and tons of other people. It was Jordans first day at Aero (amazing job!!) He worked front mens and I had front womans so we worked next to each other. I found that quite funny. My co-workers and I had random dance parties. I worked 16 hours that day. At BBW I had one hour left of work (it was 10:00PM) and they were sending me home. The reason why, was because they thought I was going to pass out. Apparently I looked that bad. But I declined it. I only had ONE HOUR OF WORK LEFT!! I already worked FIFTEEN HOURS! What's ONE more hour. Well, I should have left. Oh well. I had work the next morning at BBW at 12:30. It was fine.
Note: I  had a cold ALL day.
Sunday was alright. I felt like a disaster and my cold had gotten worse. Tiffany brought me some drink that tasted like Christmas. It was alright, defintely not the best.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I worked at Aero. On Tuesday, I was informed that we were going to get secret shopped. I was the only associate and I was working with Kate and Julie (both managers). In other words I pretty much ran the whole floor...greeting, asking if they needed help (sizes, ect) and cash wrap. Awesome!
Note: I still have a cold.
Wednesday I opened at BBW. It was the WORST experience of my life! Juliene, a manager there treats me like i'm nothing. She ALWAYS points out all the bad things I do and never bothers to see the good things. Ever since I started there she has been treating me the same. Because of her I quit yesterday. I was and am done. Not only her but there are other associates who are the same. Truely I have no idea what their problem is. Another manager asked me how much Aero made on Black Friday. Um..Hello? That is confidential. You don't do that.
Later that day I had to close at Aero. I walked in and Kate told me the best news!! Remember when I mentioned that we had a secret shopper? Not only did we have one but two. And we got 100%!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOO!! I was the only associate with Kate and Julie! Pretty much I got all the credit! It was amazing!!! My managers (including Jared our district manager) was proud of me! Boo ya!! Anyway, We didn't leave till 12:30am. EVERYTHING needed to look PERFECT for a lady who was coming in. It needed to look so good to the point that we needed to mop the store and peel off the xs, s, m, l, xl stickers. It was great fun! I didn't get home till 1am. Luckily, it was me, Allysa, Tiff and Julie closing.
Note: Still stuck with a cold.
Thursday and Friday are my days off. Yay!!!
Thursday I went to the doctors. Yay!!
Tomorrow I close at Aero. I love it there. :)

That Moment When...

Awkward: That moment when you walk up to a boy from behind to greet them and they turn around and you forget what to say because you got lost in their eyes.
Awesome: Then you continue doing your job and you randomly look up and he is starring at you. :)

November 25th

For all you Aero lovers we open at Midnight. There is only going to be ONE door open. :) Good luck finding it. *Hint* It's the door where everyone is camping out at.

For all you Bath & body Works lovers we open at 5AM! You are welcome to wait outside our store at midnight. There are dang good deals and come get our VIP Bag :)

Aeropostale

I forgot how many cute boys go into Aero! This is awesome. And when I'm working the front of the store I get to greet them. Cause it's my job, i'm in the front. Make sense? Good. Moving on.
At Aero we wear headsets. We attach the walkie talkie to our back or side pocket and attach the little tiny speaker to our shirt. Then we put the ear peice on our ear. It felt weird at first cause it doesn't go in your ear, it just hangs there. Anyway, I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I kept jumping each time the manager spoke through it. I was folding clothes or concentrating on something and all of a sudden I hear a voice. I forget I have it on. So from the customers point of view it looked like I was having spasms. Also, when you have the ear peice in, you can't really hear anything from that ear but the people who talk in it. So I can pretty much only really hear with one ear.
Alright for all of you who don't know how to pronounce Aeropostale. I know most of you say, "Aero-post-ole" but that is incorrect. Don't worry, that's how I always say it. But it's really pronounced, "Aero-pust-all". Weird right? I'm still trying to get the hang of it.
Yesterday the main manager was training two managers for South Towne and so it was only me and this other girl running the floor. It was awesome.
We still need to hire about 20 more people. I believe they are having 40 people work Black Friday. We open at midnight and close at midnight.
P.S. I STILL HAVE 40% DISCOUNT CARDS!! THEY ARE VALID NOV 17-NOV 20!! Yes, they are free. If you want one, let me know. :)

#9. Music

I don't know what I would do without music. I love it so much! Right now both of my jobs are playing Christmas music! They played my favorite songs! Me and a co-worker Kyle, wanted to break out dancing! Both him and I started jamming out to "Say You Like Me" by We The Kings. People thought we were crazy, but we knew that already.
I was a roadie for the Marching Band my Junior and Senior year. I loved listening to all the bands play!
I don't know what I would do without music. I listen to it ALL the time. When I'm on my laptop, in the car, and at work. It's awesome!! Music brightens my day!
Since Christmas season is coming up I love listening to Josh Groban, Michael Buble', and David Archuleta. They make my Christmas season awesome!

#7. Jobs

I'm grateful for my amazing, happy, bright, positive jobs. The people are very sweet and they are always happy to see me.
Aero: Kate (a manager) helps me with everything! I went in to work today to do Orientation. It was a one on one. So it was nice. I got to refresh my memory on how things work.
Bath & Body Works: I love walking into that store! The smell is AMAZING! When I get my apron on and I am on the floor it makes me soo happy to be there. I know I know, I get happy when I'm at work! I love the environment.
Today as I went in to work (Aero) the south entrance was closed till 10. Me and this other new girl needed to get in. We wondered how everyone else got in. Apparently, only the North entrance is open. When we got in there were ELDERLY people EVERYWHERE!! And I thought SINCE WHEN DID THE MALL TURN INTO A GYM??? They were all exercising! It was soo cute! Dang, it was really funny seeing everyone exercising at the mall. We kinda giggled and smiled happily as they ran, walked or speed walked by.
*Sigh* I love my jobs!

Christmas Melodies

So some people are listening to Christmas music now and blaming Michael Buble' and Justin Bieber. I used to be like those people who started listening to Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving. I don't have a choice. At my work they are already playing Christmas music and. . .I. . . LOVE IT!! (And that's why now it's on my blog) The decorations are up and the smell is in the store! It is such a cute little store! I will try to take pictures of it and post them, better yet, just come visit. :)
On the other hand, Aero has some super fun Christmas music. I always find myself dancing to it. Whoops.
PLEASE COME VISIT ON BLACK FRIDAY!!!
